my PC is pretty much dying with bad specifications (AMD PROCESSORS COUGH COUGH COUGH) so i want to get a new processor

but i don't know which one, and the first thing that came trough my mind was CELERON, afterall my PC originally had that before needing to change specifications

so is it worth to get it

The celeron is a huge upgrade from your current specification, but I’d suggest you to search in the used market for core 2 quads which are better than the Celeron yet may cost the same or less.

Well what is your budget?
Check what CPUs are compatible with your current motherboard.
Also google the Intel Ark site to see which CPU will fit your needs.

@liam pretty much a very bad processor

AMD sempron processor LE-1250 2.21 GHz

my pc also has only 2GB RAM, with a very bad graphics card also, GeForce 7025

Rans i actually thought about that, but i need some good pair for GTX 460, and so since it's miles better than GeForce 7025 but it's also old, i thought CELERON would be a perfect match, also for my 2GB RAM potato.
