Oh now I know. Well, he was a hacker who took your messages and cookies on a sonic game he worked on. That's why he is hated.

He is hated for creating Graphictoria, that "virus" that apparently stole people's IP address. It was apparently disputed if it was actually a virus or not. You can find more on this: http://malware.wikia.com/wiki/Graphictoria and people suspect that he will do that again. I don't know if it was a virus, because I didn't play Graphictoria, thus I don't hate, nor like EnergyCell. He might've changed within the time, and trying to recover reputation. Please, do not hate on him.
