So it was a average day in 2016. My family and I where playing Mario Kart. Me and my brother where kicking butt, as so we thought, are parents sometimes won. I couldn’t remember exactly what we made for dinner but I still remember what was for dessert, it was this black rice stuff, I forgot exactly what it was called. So my mom gives us the rice and we try it out. It was pretty awful but I ate it anyways. We go to bed a few hours later. At about 2 AM my dad runs into my room and tells me to wake up. I refrain from arguing for he must have good reasoning. He then tells us that their is a dangerous gas in the kitchen called “carbon monoxide“ and that we would need to leave the house admittedly. I quickly grabbed our pets and we all left. We all went to our grandmas and then went to sleep. I didn’t go to school the next day.
